CHANGE TO THIS BLOG: Religion Does NOT Exist - Only God Does...

You will see that the Title (the BIG letters up top this blog) has changed. It is now:
"My Journey To Find God..."
It used to be: "My Journey To Find Religion." Yesterday I had a revelation, one of many (almost exactly 24 hours ago). I had a feeling of enlightenment spread over me. All of a sudden I felt I had no more questions, I was at peace.

The #1 answer thing I affirmed is that (and excuse the passion and foul language here)...
"RELIGION is all Bulls***!"
"Religion" is man-made and actually works directly "against" the true mission - Finding God. We as humans have a innate desire to "associate," to "belong," to "segregate" and to "mark." All things that frankly...God could care less about.

You know what God cares about?
"Your RELATIONSHIP with him..."
When we focus on "religion" we get wrapped up in the "traditions," the "rituals," and what "others think." We end up missing the entire point. (Sigh...) Even today, "religious wars" account for the most lives taken of any atrocity in the world.

Are we really fighting for "God?" How silly. Of course not. We're fighting only for our own "ego and pride." Ironically the very things that God (in ANY spiritual path of ANY name) directly warns against.

So be careful. Study about "religion" only as a guide to understanding the CORE of different beliefs. But, focus less on trying to "belong" to a certain group of HUMANS and focus on "belonging" to GOD.

So...religion...I bid you farewell sir :)  I feel I can finally see God now without all the curtains.

Most Miss The Entire Point of Religion or Prayer...

As I study religion, I'm finding ONE common thing (in any religion).

God (whatever name the religion gives him) is all-knowing, all-controlling and directs our paths. So, if that's the case, we miss out on his #1 gift to us.

The one gift that without, I don't find anyone can truly embrace God (from within). It's also the GREATEST gift we can ever ask for (above all the money, success and all else you may want). What is it?
A sense of PEACE...
Why do you stress when something bad happens? Why are you upset? Why do you blame people or situations for things missing in your life?

The bottomline is that God is in control of all these things. He does what he does with a PURPOSE. Leave it to him. Put all your burdens onto him and live only in his PATH. If something bad happens, learn from it and move on. Look for the GOOD in it.

That's what I call inner peace. As I go about my studies, it's the greatest Gift I'm getting. Honestly, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I'm realizing now how important it is.

All of a sudden nice cars, big houses, first class flights - all seem so small. Having a mind at peace is a feeling that is very hard to described. But it's a feeling one can appreciate after having felt nothing but unsettling pain and stress.

Whatever you name God - if you do believe in God - turn your decisions and their outcomes to him and free yourself of them. Try it...

Darwin Theory vs. God - A Religious Argument Until You Look at a Baby...

A fight that goes back so long.
Darwin's Theory - Man was created by "Evolution" - we started as just a CELL and slowly evolved and then through "Survival of the Fittest" - different features became more and more popular.
This happened over millions of years.
Religion - Shove it Darwin. GOD created Man and Universe. Our design is his intelligence.
Till today, Darwin made much sense to me. Mostly, I also didn't care. "Who cares how I got here, the point is, I'm here."

Now, I stare into the eyes of my nephew and think hard. I mean look at him. Look at his little body, his little toes, fingers - really, can "evolution" do THIS?

Then I hear the Doctor say this:
"When he's born, he's heavier because he's retaining more water. Over the first few days he loses it. They specifically have more water to make it through the first few days of the new environment."
REALLY? Come on! "Evolution my ass" thinks my mind. This little baby is designed TOO damn well. He even retains more water in his body because he knows the first few days in the world will be hard?

I'm speechless. Darwin, maybe you're right. If you are, then I'm baffled even more by Evolution - it's damn near perfect.
