The Bible Is 8 Things...

Went to Church today for the 2nd time, I'll talk about that in a minute. Today, Pastor Dale said something very interesting. In the middle of preaching on "praying and fasting," he mentioned:

"The Bible is 8 things, write these down..."

1. Convicting/correctional agent
2. Cleansing agent
3. Calming/Comforting agent
4. Clarifying agent
5. Commissioning agent
6. Counter-acting agent - stops you from wrongful thinking
7. Creative agent - afterall God "created" mankind.
8. Constructive agent

He said it so fast, I almost feel he could do an entire service on just this. I'm going to think more about this, pretty profound though, no?
